Parenting with gastro-oesophageal reflux

This is a forum similar to the EBB Parenting (GORD) forum.   However, it is hosted here at Crying Over Spilt Milk and is a new addition.  You will probably get more responses at everybody.co.nz.

Tracheo Osophageal Fistula (TOF)

“The day after she was born she had corrective surgery as her oesophagus was in two halves: one end joined her stomach to her trachea (wind pipe) and the other (at the top) ended in a “blind fistula”. The operation joined these two separate ends of her oesophagus. This congenital abnormality is known as a Tracheo Osophageal Fistula (TOF). One in approximately 3,500 babies is born with this condition (about 18 per year in NZ).”
